Welcome to Atwell Primary School. We are a well established primary school within the Atwell suburb, that caters for students in Kindergarten to Year 6.

Atwell Primary School prides itself on ensuring every child is given the opportunity to succeed. Your child will be provided with learning experiences by outstanding teachers who have a deep personal commitment to providing high quality education that caters for all abilities and backgrounds.

A strong relationship between the home and school plays a very important part in your child’s education. We work in partnership with parents to develop our school’s direction. Atwell Primary School has a reputation in the community of offering a safe and caring school environment where diversity and inclusion are celebrated. Our school facilities are impressive with a large oval, choice of different playground equipment and various spaces to allow students to participate in active and passive play. Our students have access to well-equipped classrooms, an indoor sports centre, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) laboratory, specialist teaching staff for music, art, and languages. Our students and staff are supported by our Chaplain, Psychologist, Nurse and Student Services Team.

We are clear about our focus and direction and our school planning translates the Atwell vision that we aim to play our role in, ‘Building well-rounded citizens with a passion for lifelong learning’.
